Coastguard Maketu now has its very own designated park for the resuce boat at the Maketu Boat Ramp
This allows us to have easy access to the ramp and a faster response time to those in need when an emergency occurs. See story in Mai Maketu here

Due to a large sand bar at the entrance please do not leave crossing the bar any later than 2 hours either side of low tide or you may get stuck
